La Valle a Polvereto is a beautiful old farm estate extending 28 hectares, covered with vineyards, olive groves, orchards, grassy areas and woodland. The garden is an ideal place in which to relax and for the more energetic there is a footpath leading through the estate for you to explore. La Valle is set in the hills in a most picturesque area between Florence and Siena. The farmhouse has been carefully restored to maintain many of its original features. The owners have created a lovely English garden with a variety of roses, clematises, herbs and shrubs. There is a good swimming pool in the garden (7m x 14m) from where you can enjoy superb views across the valley. Montespertoli, which is famous for its wine festivals, and Tavarnelle are nearby and offer good shopping facilities and a variety of restaurants |

The accommodation in this attractive property is on three levels. It is next to Edera at the rear of the farmhouse and has its own large terrace with fine views across the garden to the hills beyond. Entrance from the terrace into a bright sitting room with double sofa bed, Tuscan fireplace and satellite TV. Open archway leads through to the dining room/kitchen with glass dining table. The well equipped fitted kitchen has sink, fridge, large freezer, hob with 5 gas rings, electric oven and dishwasher. A wide wooden staircase leads up from the sitting room to the bedrooms. Two double and two bathrooms both with shower, basin, bidet and wc. Further galleried open twin bedroom accessed by a spiral staircase is above the bathrooms - please note this room has some restricted headroom. Good views from all windows |
